If you already have anything in the header, select it -- if that's the material you want on the first page header, cut it to the clipboard, or otherwise just delete it. That empty header will be applied to the second and later pages.
The header pane of the first page of the document or the first page of the current section, if you opened the header of the second or later section will have a blue tag that says "First Page Header". Now paste or insert whatever text or images you want to have on the first page only.
